About Me
I’ve been a runner for over 25 years, starting in high school when I followed in my brother’s footsteps. I was fortunate to be part of a state championship-winning cross country and track team, led by an incredible coach who inspired my passion for running.
After high school, I ran for fitness throughout college and my 20s. After having kids, I returned to competitive running and haven’t looked back. Running has become my outlet for personal growth, stress relief, and pushing my limits.
I also believe you can get faster at any age! Many of my personal bests have been set in the last five years:
- Marathon: 3:12:31 (Houston, 2022)
- Half Marathon: 1:27:52 (Celebration, 2020)
- 15K: 1:04:52 (Gasparilla, 2018)
- 10K: 42:36 (Lake to Lake, 2024)
- 5K: 18:58 (Winter Haven, 2021)
Fun Running Highlights
- In high school, I promised a coach I’d break 19:00 in the 5K one day. My best back then was 19:01, so I set my email to Haley1859@aol.com as motivation. It took 23 years, but in 2021, I finally ran 18:58!
- I qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2017 and ran it in 2019. Despite a tough race, I turned the setback into a comeback, running a 15-minute PR six months later with the help of my coach, Jon Mott.
I’d love to help you on your own running journey. Let’s reach your goals together!
